Growing concern over Bluetongue and a strong demand for clear, practical advice has prompted Torch Farm Vets to host another free information evening for farmers in west Devon and north Cornwall.
The move follows the success of the recent Exmoor Hill Farming Network Bluetongue event, which highlighted the urgent need for reliable guidance as livestock keepers prepare for the challenges posed by the disease.
The Bluetongue information evening will take place at Holsworthy Market Café, Kivells, on Thursday, July 30, starting at 6.30pm.
Hosted by Torch Farm Vets, the event will feature guest speaker Liz Nabb from the Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA), who will provide the latest updates, practical advice and answer farmers' questions. Representatives from the Farming Community Network will also be on hand to offer support and guidance.
The event is free to attend, but places are limited. To book, call 01237 870456 or email events@torchvets.com.
