The winner of the event will be chosen to earn a potential trial with one of Tesco's supply chain partners, as well as getting feedback and mentoring by Tesco’s Sustainable Agriculture and Fisheries team.

Commenting on the competition, head of sustainable agriculture and fisheries at Tesco, Natalie Smith, said: “We're thrilled to join forces with LEO once more for the seventh year of the Tesco Agri T-Jam. With innovation already playing a critical role in our agriculture supply chains, the Agri T-Jam is a fantastic way to introduce new and exciting start-ups to our suppliers, farmers and growers

“Along with our suppliers, we are looking for innovators who can address some of the key sustainability challenges we face today, and provide effective long-term solutions.”

The winner will also get membership of Agri-TechE an independent agritech innovation network alongside the opportunity to speak at the 2024 REAP conference, which brings people together from different areas of the agtech and science industries to turn challenges into business opportunities and facilitate mutually beneficial collaboration.
