WRAXALL hosted the North Somerset Show last bank holiday Monday (May 6 2024), and the fields were once again packed with punters, vendors and livestock, along with a visit from North Somerset MP Liam Fox.

The historical agricultural show was hosted for the 164th time and was once again a vibrant, bustling event, displaying the very best that North Somerset farming and its local businesses had to offer.

As is tradition the centre piece for the day were the cattle and livestock showcases.

Competitions for farmers to show off their best cows, sheep, pigs, canines and even alpacas were all hosted at centre stage, as well as events for horse riding, sheep shearing and blacksmithing.

There was also the high-octane entertainment courtesy of ATV Stunts, that saw Paul Hannam show off his four wheeled skills during his quadbike stunt performance.

North Somerset MP Liam Fox was in attendance and thoroughly enjoyed the event, after which he posted on his social media: “Another fantastic turnout at the North Somerset Show, despite the showers.

“Wonderfully produced craft and foods, showcased with local charities, events and the very best of our livestock and horses.”
