FIREFIGHTERS from eleven stations across Somerset and Devon were mobilised to deal with a commercial property fire in last week.
A blaze at Mole Valley Farmers Mill on Bridge Street in Uffculme, broke out on the ground floor at around 2:30pm on Friday, January 12.
After starting in the grinder the fire then spread to the first floor and the roof of the building.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said the cause was believed to be accidental.
By 10:30pm, crews began making up their equipment and handing over responsibility to the on-site engineers.
Crews from Danes Castle, Bampton, Cullompton, Honiton, Ottery St Mary, Tiverton, Middlemoor, Taunton, Burnham On Sea, Wellington, Martock fire stations all attended the incident.
A spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: "At around 2.30pm on 10 January we were called deal with a machinery fire at a commercial property on Bridge Street in Uffculme.
"Eight appliances in total were mobilised, including an aerial ladder Platform from Taunton.
"Altogether, 10x breathing apparatus, 3x hose reel jets, 1x safety jet. 2x thermal image cameras, lighting and a nearby street hydrant were used to extinguish the fire."
