A YOUNG farmers club held a tractor run before Christmas - with more than 100 vehicles dressed up to raise money for charity. 

Anstey Young Farmers club, based in Devon, held their annual tractor run on December 10 2023. 

They are raising money for Devon Air Ambulance and Exmoor Search & Rescue Team. You can still donate by visiting their JustGiving page. 

A spokesperson for the club said: "The biggest thank you to everyone who turned out and supported us this year - either in your tractor or along the route. 

"This was definitely the hardest year for our best decorated tractor competition with a lot of effort going into the decorations."

Martin Thorne, who is part of the family who won first and third prize at the tractor run, has participated in the event for the past two years. 

"The tractor run is the highlight of the year really," he said. 

"We put a big Merry Christmas banner on one of our tractors and then reindeer on the side. The club had a really good turn out on the night."
