THE Chardstock Vintage Tractor and Machinery Club raised £3,000 for two good causes.
The club’s 70 members attended the annual presentation dinner at Thorncombe Sports and Social Club on Saturday, December 2, and were joined by a Representative for Cancer Research UK (Megan Poole) who received a cheque for £1,500.
A cheque for the same amount will be forwarded to Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.
The money totals were raised at various fixtures throughout the year including vintage ploughing and mowing events.
