A STOLEN excavator was found in woodlands in Dorset yesterday (Thursday, November 2).
Dorset Police Rural Crime Team found a Kubota Mini Excavator, stolen from West Parley, in woodlands at Matchams. The owner was then reunited it.
But the police force are appealing for witnesses to the incident. If anyone saw the excavator being moved yesterday and/or may have dash cam or ring doorbell footage, they are asked to contact PC 1614 Kate Schofield Dorset Police at https://www.dorset.police.uk/ or by calling 101 quoting occurrence number 55230173417.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police Rural Crime Team said: "Rural Crime Team 1 - Thieves 0.
"Today we found a Kubota Mini Excavator stolen from West Parley last night and found in woodland at Matchams - we thought we wouldn't find it. One happy owner was re-united with their excavator, enquiries to continue."
