Firefighters have warned that a Wiltshire town will be hit by a large plume of smoke following an overnight barn fire.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday morning at a barn in Granham with firefighters rushing to extinguish the flames.
As of Tuesday at 9am, fire crews were still at the site tackling the incident.
Those fighting the fire have warned residents about the cloud of smoke from the barn, which is travelling towards Marlborough.
Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service took to Twitter on Tuesday morning to ensure residents were keeping doors and windows closed.
The tweet said: “We’ve been in attendance at a barn fire in Granham since the early hours of this morning and are likely to be on scene for most of the day.
“The smoke plume is heading towards Marlborough, so residents should keep windows and doors shut if concerned.”
