Twenty lambs have been stolen from a field in East Cornwall.

They were taken from their field in the East Looe area sometime between Sunday, September 4 and Thursday, September 8.

The lambs are six months old Suffolk Cross lambs, so are white with black faces.

They are marked in blue on the back of their necks.

Devon and Cornwall Police are investigating the theft .

Officers are advising livestock owners to make sure that appropriate security is in place and also to remain vigilant for suspicious activity.

Police are today appealing for anyone with any information of the theft to email 101@dc.police.uk or by calling 101 quoting crime reference number CR/082856/22.
