Yesterday morning (Wednesday) police took to social media to show how badly thieves had hidden their loot.
High value machinery had been stolen from a premises in Hampshire during Tuesday night.
Dorset Police had some information which they passed onto their Hampshire colleagues.
The police then found the machinery in a part of the New Forest - not exactly well hidden.
Thanking the Dorset team, the Hampshire Roads Policing Unit shared the photo, writing: "Acting on information from @dorsetpolice, we assisted in locating high value machinery which had been stolen overnight - well hidden in the New Forest but not well enough! One happy owner!"
