An eight acre cider apple and perry pear orchard in West Dorset is for sale.

If you’re green-fingered, love the open countryside and are partial to a drop of cider or perry, Gollop Orchard near Netherbury could be the perfect purchase.

It has panoramic views towards the coast and is a gently sloping 8.66 acre orchard planted in 2008.

Half cider apples, half perry pears, the trees include many traditional varieties with evocative names such as the ‘Hendre Huffcap’, Judge Amphlett, Porter’s Perfection and Harry Masters Jersey.

No sprays have been used on the orchard since planting, and the current owners have sold their crop to a Dorset cider producer each year.
