Tenant farmers are being sought for two farms in Powys.
Powys County Estate Farms have both starter stock-rearing farms available in May.
New Hall in Kerry is a starter stock-rearing unit with a semi-detached three bedroom house, modern and traditional farm buildings and 57 acres of productive land.
Sychlyn in Pool Quay, Welshpool is also a starter stock-rearing unit.
It has some 86 acres of productive land, a three bedroom farmhouse and extensive modern farm buildings.
Both farms are to be let on a farm business tenancy for a term of almost eight years from May 5, 2022.
The estate says that applicants should have a minimum of five years of practical farming experience, which may include up to three years spent at college or university studying a relevant agricultural qualification, and should be intending to pursue a career in agriculture.
Requests for particulars should be made before February 18 (with full name, address and contact telephone number) via email to county.farms@powys.gov.uk.
