Both machines were destroyed by the fire
A fire destroyed a tractor and a hedge cutter in a field near Bridgwater yesterday (Thursday, October 7).
Two fire appliances, a water carrier and a 4x4 vehicle from Street and Bridgwater were sent to the machinery on fire at 1.39pm.
They found both the tractor and hedge cutter well alight.
Using the light pump from the 4x4 vehicle, they managed to bring the fire under control.
Both pieces of machinery were 100 per cent damaged by fire.
The cause of the fire was accidental.
