Agrifest South West at Westpoint Exeter, the premier industry event for livestock farmers throughout the region, has announced its date.

The event opens it gates at 8.00am on Wednesday, November 3 and will bring farmers, agricultural traders, professionals and researchers under one roof to discuss, showcase and celebrate farming in the UK.

It's an opportunity to listen to industry leaders offer their views on cutting edge agricultural innovation and witness technological solutions for modern farming in action.

Organised for the first time by the Devon County Agricultural Association and sponsored by Mole Avon Country Stores, the 2021 event is expecting more than 200 exhibits, showcasing pedigree cattle, prime stock cattle and prime stock lamb.

Visitors can also browse 50 agricultural tradestands including machinery, animal health, professional services and breed societies.

Add to this a programme of awards for the tastiest steaks and burgers plus a Royal Smithfield Club competition for beef ribs and saddle of lamb and what better way is there to celebrate the UK meat industry?

Six industry leaders will be joining the programme of speakers throughout the day with talks designed to inform and inspire. From regeneration to regulations and of course, life after Brexit, Agrifest South West will address the important issues for the region’s farmers.
