A barn full of hay on a farm near Dalwood caught fire yesterday morning (September 21).
At 6.10am crews from Danes Castle, Axminster and Colyton were mobilised.
A telehandler moved around 200 large hay bales from the barn to prevent them catching alight.

By just before 9am crews had succeeded in managing the fire.
The cause is reported to have been accidental.
