A barn full of hay caught fire in a village near Poole on Monday (August 2).
The fire in Lytchett Matravers caused so much smoke that residents were advised to keep their doors and windows closed.
Three fire engines were mobilised to Colehill Road at 1.55pm from Poole and Hamworthy, along with two water carriers from Poole and Hampshire and the Unimog from Wareham.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service warned villagers via social media:
We are currently dealing with a barn fire near Lytchett Matravers, which is generating a lot of smoke in the area. Please keep doors and windows closed if you're local and concerned. pic.twitter.com/WuWycGZNgL
