A barn caught fire with a large amount of hay and machinery inside in North Tawton in the early hours of Monday morning (July 6).
At 2.32am fire control mobilised crews from North Tawton, Okehampton and the water carrier from Danes Castle.
On arrival they found the barn fully alight, so another crew was called from Hatherleigh.
Crews fought the flames and the owner helped in moving the contents of the barn to a safer place.

Firefighters fought the fire through the night, and used a controlled burn approach to stop the fire spreading further.
By 6am just two pumps were needed but rolling relief crews from Chagford, Crediton, Danes Castle, North Tawton and Okehampton kept a watching brief and preventing any further escalation from happening.
This is one of several barn fires across the region this week.
