A fire broke out in a barn in Horsington near Wincanton in the early hours of Sunday morning (June 20).

Crews were called at 5.44am and sent fire engines from Wincanton and Gillingham, together with a water carrier from Yeovil and an incident support unit from Martock to the farm in Batchpool Lane.

They found a barn on fire that contained hay bales and farm machinery.
