A fire broke out in a barn in Horsington near Wincanton in the early hours of Sunday morning (June 20).
Crews were called at 5.44am and sent fire engines from Wincanton and Gillingham, together with a water carrier from Yeovil and an incident support unit from Martock to the farm in Batchpool Lane.
They found a barn on fire that contained hay bales and farm machinery.
Fortunately the fire was contained in one corner of the barn.
Using jets and drag forks they managed to put the fire out.
There were around 20 bales of hay that were destroyed by the fire, which was confirmed to have been accidental.
