A hay lorry found to be 10,400kg over its permitted weight was pulled off the M5 by police yesterday.
Officers from Avon and Somerset Police surmised that it was too heavy and pulled it over.
After examination by the enforcement team of the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency and the police's Road Safety Unit, it was found that the lorry was an enormous 10,400kg over the allowed weight - nearly a quarter too heavy.
The driver was reported for the dangerous condition of the vehicle and the vehicle was pulled off the road.
Police shared the photo on Twitter, saying:
