Pewsham: The Heavitree Brewery has applied for an alcohol licence for The Pewsham in London Road. The bid would see the establishment sell booze from 9am to 11pm Monday to Sunday inclusive with its opening hours of 6am to 11.30pm. This will also include the retail sale of alcohol from 9am to 1am in the function room for one-off private events only with the function room closing at 1am.

Tidworth: Erkan Zincirkiran has applied to Wiltshire Council for a premise licence for the Atlantic Grill in Pennings Road. The licence would permit Atlantic Grill to sell alcohol for consumption on and off premises between the hours of 11am and 11.30pm Monday to Sunday.

Kington St Michael: A R Chippenham of 8 The Bridge in Chippenham, has applied for a new premises licence for Container 25, Kingtor Park, Malmesbury Road. If successful, the company will be allowed to sell alcohol for consumption off premises. In addition, the applicant is seeking to allow for the sale of booze to customers 24 hours per day.

Devizes: Parts of Elizabeth Way will be closed from May 10. The road will be closed from its junction with Cunnington Close to allow for manholes on the road to be repaired.

No alternative routes have been made available, but access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible. The works are expected to be finished on May 12.

Melksham: From May 10 part of Westlands Lane in Melksham Without from its junction with The Laurels for 180m east will be closed to allow Wessex Water to carry out work to create five trial holes along the lane. These will act as part of a sewage scheme appraisal.

The road will be closed until May 21. Drivers are advised to take the unaffected portions of Westlands Lane, the B3353, A350 and vice versa.

Corsham: Parts of Thingley Road from its junction with Corsham Road for 340m north will be closed next month. The closure will allow Gigaclear Limited to carry out excavation works and lay down fibre optic cable in the area. The closure will begin on May 11 and will continue until May 24, 2021. Drivers are advised to take the unaffected length of Thingley Road.

Tytherton Lucas: Jonathan Laughton and Patricia Anne Claire Laughton trading as Armada Sport Horses of Bosmere Farm have applied for a goods vehicle operators licence to use the farm as the operating centre for one vehicle.

Tidworth: Two traffic orders have come into force in two parts of Tidworth. The first, introduces a no right turn onto Meerut Road, and the second will stop vehicles from making left hand turns from Pennings Road into Meerut Road.

Worton: Wiltshire Council has given notice that Bridleway 15 from its junction with High Street to where it meets footpath 13 will be closed from May 4 until May 10. This is to enable 57 metres of water piping to be replaced in the area. Pedestrians are advised to take alternative routes via footpath 13, footpath 20, Worton High Street and vice versa.

Bradford on Avon: LFH (Wooley Grange) has applied to vary the premises licence at the Wooley Grange Hotel at Wooley Green, Bradford on Avon. The new licence would include the glamping held and outdoor pool within the licenced area. A restaurant is planned to be sited at the glamping held with late night refreshments available 24 hours to residents and bonafide guests.
