Cows had to be urgently moved from burning farm buildings in Nether Stowey in the early hours of this morning (April 30).
Fire crews were called to Cannington Road just after 5am following reports of fire in farm buildings.
Crews from Nether Stowey, Bridgwater, Taunton and Martock attended with four fire engines and a water carrier.
On arrival they found a number of buildings holding cattle and feed were burning.
They moved the cows to safety and contacted the owner.

Using jets and air compressed foam they tackled the fire, and are still on scene.
Fire control says that the operation has now been scaled back to two pumps and that they will give an update shortly.
Nether Stowey Fire Station wrote on Facebook that they were attending a "large barn fire" and that they give more information later.
