Police are thanking the public for helping them find a JCB loading shovel that was stolen from a field in Wotton under Edge.
The loading shovel was stolen between 4pm - 7.30pm on April 22 from Wickwar.
After police issued an appeal to help find it, a member of the public spotted the shovel.
It has now been returned to its owner.
Avon and Somerset Police Rural Affairs Unit took to social media to share the good news, saying: "GOOD NEWS STORY: Following the appeals over the weekend reference the JCB loading shovel stolen from a field in Wotton under Edge.
"We are pleased to update that this machine is back with the rightful owner after one eagle eyed member of the public sighted it."
