A two day old calf has been found dead in Avon Heath County Park - and it appears it was attacked by a dog.
Dorset Police are asking the public for information following their sad find.
The calf was seen alive on March 31 but found dead the next morning at 8am with marks that appear to be from a dog.
A spokesperson for the police said: "A two day old calf has been found deceased with bite marks to its hind legs and rump in Avon Heath County Park.
"The marks are consistent with a dog attack."
