POLICE are asking for the public's help in trying to locate a Falmouth man wanted in connection with an alleged burglary and act of criminal damage.

Nicholas Carter, 39, from Falmouth has so far evaded police efforts to find him and they are now seeking the public's help to locate him.

However, they have warned people not to approach him but to call the police immediately if they spot him.

Carter is described as being of medium build, 5ft 7in tall, with short, straight, brown hair.

The appeal by Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police are seeking the public’s help to trace a 39-year-old man from Falmouth.

"Nicholas Carter is wanted in connection to an investigation into an alleged burglary and act of criminal damage.

"Enquiries have been made by police to locate him and officers are now appealing to the public for information on his whereabouts and to report any sightings.

"Carter, pictured, is described as being of medium build, 5ft 7in tall, with short, straight, brown hair.

"He has links to the Newquay and Falmouth areas.

"Anyone who sees Carter is asked to not approach him and call police on 999 immediately quoting log number 664 of 10 April 2021."
