GET Herefordshire back to work.

That’s the message in a new Hereford Times campaign to help businesses recover from the pandemic and people return to the jobs market.

Throughout the last unprecedented 12 months we have been running our Local Love campaign encouraging people to support our brilliant businesses – the lifeblood of all our communities, town centres and high streets.

Now in a new six-week initiative as we head towards opening up again after lockdown, Get Herefordshire Back to Work will be offering free recruitment advertising to local businesses.

And equally the campaign is aimed at helping as many people as possible to return to employment after the toughest of times.

With the backing of sponsors we will able support local business and give them a big boost, tapping into the huge print and digital audiences of our own trusted news brand our digital marketing arm LOCALiQ.

Hereford Times sales director Debra Orr said: “We are very aware that many businesses will need to recruit as we finally see some light at the end of the tunnel and we begin to get back to something approaching normal life.

“Our new campaign is aimed at helping businesses find the staff they need and jobseekers to get back into employment as our economy opens up again. Demand is skyrocketing.

“The last 12 months have been incredibly challenging and while we can see a more positive outlook as the vaccine rollout progresses, we are also acutely aware of the challenges that remain.

"One of the issues faced by small businesses, particularly in the hospitality sector across Herefordshire is the need to recruit staff to support what is likely to be a very busy summer season as more people opt for a staycation.

“The Hereford Times is delighted to provide a free advertising service to help local business get back on their feet at a time when they need our support the most.”

If an employer has a job they simply need to email us and we will call them back to book their free print advert and 28-day job listing.
