ONE of Taunton's best known restaurants is to launch a takeaway service next month.

Brazz, which is situated in Castle Bow in the town centre, will make some of its classic dishes available to eat at home from Friday, March 5.

For the first takeaway evening, head chef John Godfrey is to serve a number of Brazz favourites - including the 'Classic Brazz Beef Burger', 'Quantock Lamb Burger' and 'Classic Brazz Fish & Chips'.

The food will be available to pick up on March 5, at a time between 5pm and 9pm - providing that orders are received by Wednesday, March 3.

To allow for social distancing, customers will be asked to pay upon ordering and they will be allocated a five-minute slot for picking up.

To order, you can email hello@brazz.co.uk or call 01823 272 671 (Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm); the full takeaway menu can be found here.

As part of the government's 'roadmap' for easing Covid-19 restrictions, restaurants and pub gardens will be able to serve customers sitting outdoors from Monday, April 12, and the plan is to allow pubs, restaurants and other hospitality venues to seat customers indoors from Monday, May 17.
