AN ADOPTION agency for Dorset has fought through the Covid-19 pandemic to find a forever home for its 200th child.
Aspire Adoption, one of the country’s first regional adoption agencies, works with Dorset Council to find families for children across the county who need adopting.
Aspire has successfully placed 46 children with their adoptive families since Covid restrictions began.
Jenny Warr, manager of Aspire Adoption, said: "It's an amazing achievement to have placed our 200th child with their adoptive family in just over three years.
"There are many children who still need a forever family and I urge anyone who has been thinking about adoption to give us a call and have a chat with us.
To be eligible, adopters must be 21 years or over and must go through a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
