Two men from Poole have been charged with hare coursing on farmland near Ringwood.

Hampshire Police officers were called out to an incident at 6.54pm on Sunday, September 13.

There were reports of people hunting a wild animal with dogs on private land at a farm in the Ringwood area.

Police arrested and subsequently charged the men.

Two men were arrested and subsequently charged.

Both Stephan Cooper, aged 29, of Rockley Road, Poole, Dorset and Shane Aaron Manyweathers, aged 28, of Frobisher Avenue, Poole, Dorset were charged with hunting a wild mammal with a dog contrary to schedule one of the hunting act.

The men are both due to appear at Southampton Magistrates Court on Tuesday, April 6.
