A GATE which was installed to replace one that was previously damaged has also been destroyed beyond repair and may cost the council up to £5,000 to fix.

Last month, drivers in 4x4 vehicles damaged the posts and surface of bridleway N31/12 at Chetnole Road, Yetminster.

On Sunday, December 6, a galvanised gate, which was a replacement for the previously damaged gate, was also damaged.
