THE Healthbus Trust in Bournemouth is one of the many charities in the South West that has been supported by the latest round of funding from Leeds Building Society Foundation.
The Healthbus Trust, which provides healthcare services for rough sleepers to help them off the streets, received a grant of £1,785 from the Foundation.
The chairman of Leeds Building Society Foundation, Gary Hetherington said: "We’re pleased to be able to assist these charities supporting people in need in communities in the South West.
"The pandemic has presented many extra challenges for charitable organisations of all sizes, and these grants will greatly assist the vital services offered within these local communities."
In the latest funding round, a total of 42 charities across the UK have benefitted from donations totalling £37,730.
