POLICE have warned drivers to be on their guard after a spate of thefts from vehicles in the Wool and Wareham areas.
Purbeck police said all vehicles should be locked and valuables taken out or hidden from view.
A spokesman for the Neighbourhood Policing Team said extra patrols have been carried out. A suspicious vehicle was stopped on November 25 and suspected stolen goods were seized.
