SPEEDING drivers were handed penalty notices during a police operation in Poole.
Officers carried out checks following reports of speeding in the Canford Cliffs area.
A spokesman for Poole police said several drivers wee stopped and penalty notices issued yesterday.
The operation was the latest in a series of initiatives to tackle excess speed on Dorset roads.
