THERE is still time to have your say on a shoppers parking permit.
The 'Dorset Shoppers Permit' consultation was launched shortly after the announcement that Dorset Council will be making changes to its car parks.
The changes will include charging until 8pm and on Sundays, as well as price increases in some west Dorset car parks.
The council believes a county-wide permit scheme would encourage more people to use struggling town centres and shop locally.
Shoppers permits will allow two hours parking (limited to one use per day) or three hours parking if a disabled badge is also displayed. At extra cost to the purchaser, it can be used in in a second vehicle but not on the same day.
The consultation will run until 6 December 2020. It takes approximately 5 minutes to complete. Take part at www.dorsetcouncil.gov.uk/shoppers-permit-survey
