PEOPLE who work in the farming industry in Dorset are being encouraged to take part in a mental health survey.
In the county, a group has come together to help tackle farmer's mental health.
They include the Farming Community Network, National Farmers Union, Dorset Council, Dorset Healthcare, Dorset Mind, Dorset Mental Health Forum, Dorset Police and Steps to Wellbeing.
The group aims to increase awareness of wellbeing within farming and provide a range of targeted support such as signposting, training and events, which can be easily accessed when someone needs urgent help.
This group has developed the short and anonymous Dorset Farmers Mental Health Survey to start to identify people's current understanding of mental health and whether there are any gaps in services.
