Organisers have praised Inter Faith Week in Swindon this year for bringing communities together during difficult times.

Swindon Interfaith Group has been hosted a series of online sessions, talks and films last week to mark a UK-wide event.

Kenny Baxter, social media and communications secretary of Swindon Interfaith Group, said: "It was wonderful to see support from our faith communities for Interfaith Week in Swindon."

"We had good attendance throughout the week and some fantastic contributions and discussions.

Over 50 participating accounts tuned into both the virtual Compline Service and Sufi Devotional, with audiences from Ireland, Scotland and Canada throughout the week.

Kenny added: "We welcomed around 100 people to our events across the week from different communities and backgrounds. It was energising to see the level of passion and interest in bringing communities together during a year which at times has been divided."
