There's still time for people in Parks and Walcot to sign up to Window Wanderland.
Gloomy winter nights will soon be brightened in the area as colourful window displays start popping up later this month.
Running between November 21 and November 24, the initiative will see homes and businesses decorate their windows with designs of their choosing to create colourful displays and brighten up the streets.
Resident Curtis Flux who runs the Your Community Your Choice Facebook group has helped bring the project to the area. He said: “Anyone can take part. Displays can be as big or as small as you want. The main point is to bring the community together, lighten up the streets and create something people can do safely in these Covid times.”
The free event which aims to create a trail around the streets will also raise money for a local charity decided on by participants.
