Kivells of Holsworthy saw a fantastic day which included the 2020 Holsworthy Dairy Event which produced a top call of £3,600 for a wonderful milking cow up from Messrs Willsbro of Wadebridge in Cornwall.
More than 300 store cattle saw the trade rise again with a top call of £1,300 given for steers on behalf of Dan Jones of Heggaton with heifers at £1,085 for Messrs Cornish.
38 cull cows saw the best at £820 for Messrs Pocock of Pancrasweek.
303 calves sold to a top call of £455 for DW Warren of Cornwall who also topped the heifers at £360.
Best stirks hit £450 for Rob Parish of Launceston with Messrs Boon of Lamerton at £415 for Hereford heifers.
857 prime sheep saw a splendid trade with the very best heavies to £105 for Messrs Stephens of Bude with premium on the day set at 221p/kg for Andy Melville.
372 cull sheep topped at £101 for Messrs Grigg of Trengune with an overall average of £71.39 being £5 up on the week.
