A SPOOKY Halloween garden walk created by a mother in Penhill has been branded a success.

Mum of six Tracy Cox turned her garden on Hilmarton Avenue into a ghostly attraction for families to enjoy All Hallows’ Eve in a Covid-19 secure way.

Around 70 families turned up to the charity walk on Saturday October 31, and donations of food and toiletries were collected in return.

Tracy said: “It was amazing. The community really excelled itself. We had over 70 families turn up and so many donations.”

The walk included a witches garden with a giant cauldron, as well as a zombie graveyard and a voodoo alley. Tracy created the attraction in an attempt to not let the pandemic restrictions stop children enjoying Halloween.

Donations were given to Threshold for their walk in food bank at Chippenham Close Community centre.
