The National Federation of Young Farmers Clubs (NFYFC) has launched a campaign to raise funds as many Young Farmers clubs are struggling.
The first activity to give YFC members the chance to help secure their club and county’s future is the 'Give it Some YFC Welly Relay'.
Cornwall Young Farmers Club is very proud to be kicking off the relay, to raise these vital funds to support rural young people.

Over the next couple of weeks, members will be walking, cycling and horse riding the length of Cornwall in a relay - all wearing or carrying welly boots. The relay will take members past all 20 clubs in Cornwall - from St Buryan to Stratton.
The county team will be starting the relay from Lands End and walking to St Buryan.

Ben Cavill, chairman of Cornwall YFC said: "YFCs are only too aware of the impact the coronavirus pandemic is having.
"In some counties across the country, shortfalls of £50,000 are expected, a worrying figure going into the new membership year."

Rachel Benney, vice chairman of Cornwall YFC said: "To raise vital funds to keep the future of YFCs across the country bright, Cornwall YFC has been challenged to collectively travel the distance between each of our 20 clubs, passing the virtual welly from one club to the next, raising funds along the way."
Tom Retallick, junior vice chairman added: "Over the next two weeks members of Cornwall YFC will be travelling the 200 miles between our 20 clubs, raising awareness and funds for the YFC movement."
