THE Cherries superstore at Vitality Stadium will be closed until further notice after a member of the club's retail team tested positive for coronavirus.

A statement posted on the club's website confirmed the decision had been made.

Superstore colleagues have been required to self-isolate for a period of 14 days in line with Government guidelines and the club's Covid-19 protocols.

"Since its reopening in July, the superstore has been set-up to be Covid-19 secure, with staff socially distanced from customers, sanitisers and regular cleaning in place, and PPE worn by staff," the statement said.

"However, if supporters who have visited the store since Friday, October 23, are displaying any symptoms of Covid-19 including a fever, persistent cough or loss of taste or smell, they are urged to seek immediate medical advice (from the NHS coronavirus website)."
