Have you bought a second hand IEA cattle crush in Dorset over the past few months?
Police are asking farmers who have bought one to check the serial number to see if it is one that was stolen in June.
An Ifor Williams trailer was stolen at the same time but that has now been found.
The serial number of the stolen cattle crusher - which is yet to be found - is S574292352.

A spokesperson for Dorset Police rural crime team said: "In June an Ifor Williams trailer and IEA cattle crush were stolen from Dorset.
"Trailer's been found but crush is still missing.
"Have you bought a second hand IEA cattle crush since June? The serial number for the cattle crush is S574292352.
"Call us on 101 quote 55200093240."
