AN INVESTIGATION has been launched after two men ripped out a security light at a Bournemouth address and stole a catalytic converter from a parked vehicle.

The incident between 9.20pm and 9.40pm on Saturday, October 17, reportedly saw two men enter a driveway of a Ringwood Road property.

The security light was ripped out before they took the item from the car.

Officers investigating the theft are issuing a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak with.

Bournemouth Echo:

Police Community Support Investigator Kate Hann, of Dorset Police, said: “We are making enquiries into this theft and have obtained a CCTV image of a man we would like to speak to as part of our investigation.

“I appreciate it is not the best quality image but I am hoping someone may be able to recognise him from the clothing he is wearing.”
