CAN you give these pets a home?

These pets are currently residents at Dorset based animal rescue centre Margaret Green Animal Rescue.

Jess is a 12-year-old active lady cat who’s affectionate once she knows you. She is looking for a quiet forever home as the only pet, where she can spend a good part of the day exploring outdoors.

Lily is also an older cat aged 11 and is a very sweet lady once she has got to know you, as she can be nervous of new people and places. Lily is looking for a quiet forever home where she is the only pet.

Quackers is a three-year-old Cherry Valley cross duck, who arrived at the centre with two girls. They are looking for a home with a fox proof house, where they can be safe overnight and as they enjoy swimming and diving for treats, they would need a pond too.

Spice an 18-month old rabbit looking for a forever home with her sister Sugar. They have been looking for their forever home for over a year now. Their mum was a lion head and their dad was a wild rabbit so they have a skitty nature. Both Sugar and Spice are neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated. They are not very cuddly rabbits but once they know you they will come out and say 'hi'. Ideally they are looking for a home that is enclosed like a shed with an aviary attached with a roof as they have been known to climb.

Lacey is a gorgeous and super energetic 20 year old Arab cross breed Horse. She is very affectionate, loves being pampered, as well as snoozing in the hay! She gets worried when left alone so is looking for a companion who will stay with her at all times.

Ben, a ten month old Collie is looking for an owner who will take him to agility or flyball. He is a typical, energetic Collie, with a real zest for life! He is a big, strong boy who will need his owner to continue his training. He’s also affectionate and loves to snuggle into you. Ben needs an adult only home without cats but could possibly live with a confident dog.
