SWINDON: Neil Braganca, 18, of Haydon Street, indicated guilty pleas on a basis to supplying crack cocaine and heroin to undercover police officers on June 18, 2019. He was granted unconditional bail for a sentencing hearing on November 6 at Swindon Crown Court.

WEST SWINDON: Robert Buck, 34, of Thetford, Norfolk, entered no plea to an allegation of attempting to meet a 13-year-old girl with the intention of committing a sexual offence. He was bailed to appear before Swindon Crown Court on November 6 for a plea and trial preparation hearing. His bail conditions prevent him from having unsupervised contact with a child under 16.

UPPER STRATTON: Matthew Miller, 28, of Wilkins Close, admitted drink driving. He was behind the wheel of a Fiat Punto in Swindon Road on September 15 last year when tests found he had 40 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35.

He was banned from driving for three years, fined £120 and must pay £117 in costs and surcharge.

PURTON: Karren Reynolds, 49, of Reids Piece, Purton, pleaded guilty to drug driving. She was driving a VW Golf on Oakhurst Way on August 23 last year whilst over the cannabis limit. She was fined £120, must pay £117 in costs and surcharge and was banned from the roads for a year.

ELDENE: John Takayindisa, 63, of Overbrook, admitted drink driving. He was caught in a Saab 93 on Queens Drive on January 19, 2020, when tests found he had 55 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath. He was fined £555, banned from driving for 15 months and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £55 victim surcharge.

ELDENE: Marie O’Sullivan, 39, and David O’Sullivan, 36, both of of Collingsmead, indicated guilty pleas to allegations they were in possession of an offensive weapon – a Taser – in June 2019. David O’Sullivan admitted three charges, Marie O’Sullivan faced a single charge.

They will be sentenced by magistrates on November 18.

GRANGE PARK: Marcus Richards, 37, of Lineacre Close, admitted making comments on social media about a woman – in breach of a family court non-molestation order. He was given a six month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £22 victim surcharge.

PURTON: Daniel Snowley, 36, of Reids Piece, pleaded guilty to beating a woman on December 27 last year and possession of cannabis. He was given an 18-month community order, with requirements to do the Building Better Relationships programme and 100 hours of unpaid work. Magistrates ordered he pay £85 costs and a £90 victim surcharge.

TOOTHILL: Jay Gaff, 18, of Markenfield, Toothill, and Kameran Muhid, 19, of Russ Avenue, Faringdon, entered no pleas to allegations they jointly assaulted a man by beating and causing actual bodily harm on December 21, 2019. They were granted unconditional bail to appear before Swindon Crown Court on November 6.

PENHILL: Bradley Warren, 27, of Trowbridge Close, was fined £138 and banned from driving for three years after he was found guilty of failing to provide a specimen of blood on November 29 last year. He must pay £138 costs and a £32 victim surcharge.

SOUTH MARSTON: Prosecutors offered no evidence to support the prosecution of Jonathon Capaldi, 32, of Manor Park, on a charge of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause another man to believe unlawful violence would be used against him. The allegation was dismissed.

TOOTHILL: Danny Devlin, 27, of Tattershall, admitted telling a woman he would “slit her throat”. He pleaded guilty to sending a grossly offensive communication. He was given an 18 month community order with requirements to complete 150 hours of unpaid work and 20 rehabilitation activity days.

He was separately banned from driving for 12 months and ordered to pay £180 in costs and surcharge after he admitted drug driving in Westlea on May 16.

SWINDON: Jacob Rodney, 32, of Pearson Road, admitted disorderly behaviour with intent to cause a PCSO harassment or distress. He was fined £80 and must pay £117 in costs and surcharge.
