A STAFF member at a Bournemouth takeaway was attacked by four men after asking them to leave the premises.

The attack at Charlie's Chicken in Exeter Road left the man with a broken thumb.

Now police have issued CCTV images of four men they would like to speak with about the incident.

At around 9.10pm on Wednesday August 26 four men entered Charlie’s Chicken and became aggressive toward a member of staff. After they were given their food, the men were asked to leave and they responded by assaulting the victim.

Police Constable Jessica Richmond, of Bournemouth police, said: “We have continued to make enquiries into this incident and, following further contact with the victim, we are now in a position to release CCTV images of four people we would like to speak to as part of our investigation.

“I would urge anyone who recognises these men to please contact us.”
