SPECIAL members of the Amesbury community were gifted with personalised hampers to say thank you for their work during the Covid-19 pandemic.
'Hampers for Heroes', launched by Amesbury Tesco's community champion Adele Ward, was a scheme to recognise nominees in the area who had gone above and beyond this year, including helping neighbours and residents, supporting charities and projects and boosting morale in the area.
Earlier this month the hampers were awarded to Brett Mavunga, Dion Spencer 'Disco Dion', Naomi Betts, Abi Lunn and Sandra Henstridge, Tracey Johnson, Lisa and Mark Brindley, Victoria Marshall and Carole and Dicky Boast, during a presentation with mayor of Amesbury Rhod Evans.
Adele said: "Congratulations again to all of our 'Hampers for Heroes' winners and a massive thank you for supporting our community during this turbulent time."
