THEMED murals are now on display in two Salisbury parks, partly designed by residents.
In August budding artists were given the opportunity to send drawings to Salisbury City Council, with hopes they would be used for murals either in Churchill Gardens or Victoria Park.
An artist then brought the chosen designs to life. Installed on October 7, the Churchill Gardens mural is centred around the theme of rivers and insects, with images including bees, butterflies and ladybirds enjoying the River Avon.
Woodlands is the theme for the Victoria Park version, celebrating wildlife including rabbits, deer and owls.
The council says the murals "add a dash of colour and vibrancy to the popular parks".
