A horse had to be rescued after it jumped a hedge and landed awkwardly - and ended up stuck in a ditch.
At 4.20pm fire and specialist rescue crews were called from Ilminster, Exmouth and Exeter to Stoney Lane in Stocklinch, near Ilminster, on Tuesday afternoon (October 6).

The owner was on the scene as crews worked together with a farmer and his tractor to safely lift the horse out of the ditch.
A spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: "The owner was attendance with the horse who had jumped over a hedge and landed awkwardly in the ditch.
"The crews used specialist rescue equipment and a farmer with their tractor to rescue the horse from the ditch."
The horse was checked over by a local vet before being left in the care of its owner.
