A massive day at Holsworthy saw more than 900 beef animals, 1104 sheep and 61 dairy cattle sold.
Top call of the day was £2,000 given for the best of the dairy in from Messrs Holland of Stibb Cross with an overall average of the cows standing at £1604.
381 beef cattle saw Messrs F&S Marshall of Shebbear top the day at £1200 for heifers and TJ Boughton & Son of Bradworthy at £1185 for steers.
476 calves and stirks saw the calves up £15 on the week with the best baby calves to £375 on behalf of Messrs Warren of St Buryan in West Cornwall.
504 prime sheep topped at £100 on behalf of Steve & Kat Pomeroy of Putford with premium set on the day at 203p/kg and an overall average of 194.17p/kg.
383 cull sheep saw a top call of £92 for G Cowling of Bude with plenty between £80-85.
277 store lambs topped at £83 on behalf of SJ Crocker & Son of Lewdown and averaged £71.38.
