A COMPANY based in Sturminster Newton is now providing its headset and webcam range to an international office supplier, following a surge in demand during the Covid-19 lockdown.

With more people working from home, consequently needing video call resources, retail giant Staples will now be stocking products from JPL Telecom in its European stores, as well as online in the EU and Britain.

Staples Europe has also signed a partnership agreement with the north Dorset business to resell its headset line, which includes its recently-launched JPL Vision+ webcam.

Staples Netherlands has added JPL to its Staples Advantage programme for businesses, which is being extended into Poland, the Nordic countries, Germany and Portugal.

Ross Barker, technology category manager at Staples, said the feedback has been “excellent”, describing JPL Telecom as “one of our reliable and trusted vendors”.

Pete Wilson, sales manager at JPL Telecom, said: “Audio, vision and voice solutions are at the heart of our range, therefore to have an office supply giant such as Staples actively selling our products is fantastic and a great achievement to all involved.”

Following the company’s success, James Clarke, JPL Telecom CEO, added: “The greater the market penetration we achieve, the more the consumer benefits. Vision and voice is not merely about our products, it also sums up our vision and how our voice is being heard in the commercial environment globally.

“We are delighted to welcome Staples as a Strategic Partner in association with Nimans and we are gearing up our efforts in Europe for further growth and brand awareness.

“Staples Europe is ambitious to offer solutions for their customers and we delighted to be part of the Staples solutions portfolio.”
